Page County Public Schools has announced its registration date for
children who plan to enter Kindergarten next fall. Children
eligible to attend Kindergarten are those who will be five years old
on or before September 30, 2010.
Registration will be held Monday, March 15th at the
individual elementary schools from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Parents are requested to bring the following information, which is
required by the Virginia Department of Education before the child
enters school:
• Child’s Certificate of Birth
• Child’s Physical Exam Report
• Child’s Social Security Number
• Child’s Immunization Records
All parents considering sending a child to kindergarten next fall
need to register at this time, to allow budgetary planning to occur.
If any of the above information is not available for the scheduled
registration date, we urge parents to register their child on
Monday, March 15th and then begin the process of obtaining this
information. All children are required to have the proper
documentation by the time the 2010 - 2011 school year begins.
Children are welcome to attend registration, accompanied by a
parent, but this is not required.
Details on Pre-School registration, scheduled for Wednesday, April
7th, for children who will be four years old on or before September
30, 2010, will be announced at a later date.
